#MFXTOP JULY
Thanks again to Element Games as the overall winner AND best newcomer receive a voucher to spend in their store.
Time to see who was Lucky:
Best Newcomer
and...
Tied for Second Place
It's him, Conrad.
The man with the ear trumpet on @malifools @nepalese_ninja
You wouldn't be able to tell that he's had a surgically repaired hand.

Conrad has been back on painting the Ressers this year,
everything is to such a high quality and I'm glad he entered my competition.
everything is to such a high quality and I'm glad he entered my competition.
An important thing I will add here which was inspiring to hear.
Conrad said to me that he had "immense pleasure painting this figure"
but also even with his years of quality painting and the knowledge he has accumulated
Conrad still "tried out some new stuff on it and learned some more skills [in terms of painting]".
To me this is an important thing for anyone looking at this to know.
Most people do not start off with all the skills, people learn, try things,
experiment and over time improve.
Whether you are painting your first model or your one-millionth and first model,
there is always stuff to learn and space to improve.
Plus most importantly, fun to be had.
Also tied for Second Place
So very close to doing the back-to-back,
@BigBoyBucky
What can I say? The skin tones are wonderful.
The jeans with the denim and dirt look are fantastic.
Every last detail on this model is great and I am not surprised it got so many votes.

First Place
This month's very deserving winner is
@thatdarnsatan
Technically John won month 1, but it was a tie and awarded the other way.
However I genuinely had to check through to see where he had been placing
as I was very surprised he hadn't won since.
I guess the monkey is finally off his back with this highly contested victory.

Like Bucky's entry there is little I can point out that is not awesome on this model.
Some people questioned the skin but to me it reminds me of your typical
Mexican banditos in Wild West movies.
From head to toe, toes being of note as I love the basing, this is a fantastic job.
@ThatDarnSatan is the Winner of #MFXTOP7 "Lucky"
and July's
Tyrant of Painting.
#MFXTOP Month 8
The usual reminder, but don't forget each month the Winner and Best Newcomer gets a voucher for Elementgames.co.uk
The Best Newcomer award is for whoever received the most votes and has not entered #MFXTOP before.
- If we hit 20 (previously 25) entrants I will send out something to who comes in second place.
- If we beat 27 entrants (we got 27 in January) then I will send prizes out to second and third place.
- Lastly 30 (previously 35) entrants, is my top goal and I will not only be doing all the above, but I will have a winner from each faction in the game (that includes Gremlins) who scored the most votes meaning 7 total prizes being given away.
As previously mentioned, "entrants" refers to people entering, not the amount of miniatures.
August's Theme
All right into the eight month, this time I will be opening the floodgates a little bit wider.
If you haven't got the theme, simply is paint a single plastic miniature from Malifaux, pick what you like,
a plastic Master, minion even a totem all will qualify.
"Plastic Crack"
@Lemonconstruct suggested this, it seemed nice and open after quite a specific theme last month and could give an excuse to many people to get their new toys painted.

If you have any other questions, contact me on twitter where I'll be tweeting rubbish constantly.
Please leave a comment here or on any of the other blog posts I've made.
Also another reminder that I'm still looking for guest posts in the style of the "2 for 1" series, I hope together we can get all those first masters done and move on to "1 for 2"!
I have already had @dumb_luck89 write one and soon to post up one from the no.1 ranked player in the UK Mr @joel__henry.
All work will be credited to those who enter. I hope that the community can come together for my silly little series, but I obviously don't expect it, writing even a short article does take time from your day.

As always head over to Element Games and listen to that lovely @oldmanmyke and whoever else is staring on Malifools and Fools Daily and lastly...
...if you want to come to my neck of the woods for SEPTEMBER'S CURSE August 31st for a Malifaux tournament, check out this link here and get on that reserve list.
We have about half a dozen spaces at time of writing.
We have prizes from Element Games, sexy trophies on the way, some other goodies as spot prizes (limited edition models you say?) and possibly even more.
